Commitment 2025

Commitment 2025

Men of Steel 1-6-25

We kicked off our first meeting of the year with our annual commitment ceremony. Our commitment is based on molding men toward the image of Christ through commitment to a relationship with God, love and devotion to family, a involvement with a local Body of Christ, and attendance and service to Men of Steel. All of these commitment principles are supported by scripture and are fundamental to our core values. We closed the meeting in communion and prayer. A good start for a new year.

Romans 10:9-13
9. If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. 11. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” 12. Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Ephesians 4:12-13
12. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

Matthew 6:33
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

I Timothy 5:8
But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.

Hebrews 10:25
And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.

Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.
