Men of Steel 8-18-25

Brother Lars Dunaway led the men in a message on seeking God in the storms life brings. The message focused on trials that are a normal part of life as a product of sin, how God always has a purpose in our trials such as drawing us close to Him and building character, and how God is faithful to teach us how to persevere.

John 16:33 (NIV) - "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world

James 1:2-4 (NIV) "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."

Hebrews 12:11 (NIV) "No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it."

Isalah 43:2 (NIV)- "When you pass through the waters; and when you pass through the rivers they will not sweep over you."
