We were blessed with another wonderfully fulfilling Renewal Summit this year over March 21st and 22nd. Our guest speaker Chris Allen lead the men with a message series based on Psalm 18:16 through which Chris drew parallels between the scriptures and the testimony of his life’s journey that lead him toward Jesus. This year’s theme was Rescued. Part of Chris Allen’s testimony is a powerful message about being lost at sea and rescued near death on his journey of reconciliation with his past.

He reached down from heaven and rescued me;
he drew me out of deep waters.

The New Life at Hocutt worship band served us by reprising their appearance from the previous year once again leading us into worship with powerful and moving songs of worship. We also had breakout sessions on Saturday in which the men got together in small groups and shared their own testimonies of rescue and reconciliation in their walk toward Jesus.

Many thanks to the several wives of Men of Steel who volunteered to serve and kept our men lovingly well nourished. Also a special thank you to Christian Bible Fellowship for the use of their facility as well as their ongoing support of our ministry.
