MISSION STATEMENT

Piedmont Men of Steel is committed to ENGAGING men with the person and power of Jesus Christ, EQUIPPING men through His teaching, and EMPOWERING men toward the goal of becoming “perfect in Christ”.


FOUNDATIONAL SCRIPTURES

ENGAGING men with the person and power of Jesus Christ

  • Romans 10:9-13, “…confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’…believe in your heart…you will be saved…”
  • Acts 4:12, “…Salvation is found in no one else…”
  • 1 Corinthians 1:18-25, “…the message of the cross is…the power of God…we preach Christ crucified…”

EQUIPPING men through his teaching

IMPLEMENTATION

  • One-to-one evangelism
  • Evangelistic meetings, retreats and conferences
  • Evangelistic tracts, books and other literature

EQUIPPING men through his teaching

  • Weekly discipleship Bible studies
  • Training classes, retreats and conferences
  • Discipleship books and literature

EMPOWERING men toward the goal of becoming “perfect in Christ”

  • Practical training and counseling – finances, family wholeness, sexual purity, accountability, body of Christ dedication, etc.
  • Advising, helping and empowering “reliable and accountable” Men of Steel with trying to find employment through Sustainable Alamance, possible housing, transportation, “no-interest loans,” etc.
  • Training and modeling the mindset of “reaching and teaching” others for making disciples in Jesus Christ.

To help us move forward with the Burlington Chapter over the next ten years and beyond with Godly wisdom and exposure throughout the county, we are advised by the Alamance County Steering Council. Jeff Prichard, former Chief of the Graham Police Department, is the Chair.  James Roberson, Retired Superior Court Judge; Clyde Albright, Alamance County Attorney; Jeremy Akins, Alamance County Tax Supervisor; The Honorable Larry D. Brown, Jr., District Court Judge; Rev. L. Woody Lamm, Director of PMOS; and Aaron Moger, Associate Director of PMOS are the members. Please uphold them in prayer.
