Oct. 10 2016 – Fall Harvest Festival

October 10th marked the Men of Steel’s annual Fall Harvest Festival. The festival is a time when the Men of Steel invite the entire community to come by for a meal and a time of worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship.  A great crowd joined us in the parking lot of Greater Love and enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, homemade tea and lemonade and more. Steel Magnolias (our women’s ministry counterpart) provided the desert. Ronnie Brown led the people in worship while they ate and then Nelson Jefferies and Aaron Moger shared testimonies before inviting the people to come for prayer, counseling, and to receive Jesus as their personal saviors. A handful of men came forward and one man named Tony re-committed his life to Christ after running on the streets for years. Praise be to God for the way HE is moving in Burlington and the joy that we have in being a part of what He is doing.
